We ladies watched the conflict from a near by window,to be out of harms way

Ladies of the best families in the town of Boston discuss current events and the recent unrest in the
occupied city.
Mrs J Hancock invited these ladies to tea to discuss the terrible things that were happening to the town's people because of the presence of the King's soldiers.

Mrs Hancock had her slave servant setup a delightful display of herbal tea and local treats to show her boycott on imports.

Her slave, Agnese, who I portrayed, was allow to stay at the table and listen to the heavy conversation..

Wonderful!
